Who These Terms Apply To

These terms apply to anyone who visits sattvaorigin.com or places an order with Sattva Origin, a brand of Shivali Global Foods, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Our Products

Product range: Cold pressed cooking oils — Groundnut, Sesame, and Kardai Safflower — pressed using a traditional Babul wood Kachi Ghani, periodically quality-tested in certified laboratories, and crafted and delivered directly to your home.

Product descriptions: We aim to describe our products as accurately as possible, including nutritional information, sourcing, and product details. Nutritional information is based on periodic testing and product analysis. Natural variation between harvests and pressing sessions may cause minor differences between batches.

Product availability: Some products, particularly Kardai Safflower Oil, are seasonal with limited stock. Availability is updated regularly on our website. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you with available options.

Natural characteristics: Cold pressed oils may have natural cloudiness, colour variation, and sediment. These are natural characteristics of minimally processed oils and do not indicate a product defect. We do not accept returns based on natural oil characteristics that are explained on our product pages.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price displayed at the time of your order confirmation.

Orders and Payment

Placing an order: Your order is considered confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us.

Payment methods: We accept UPI, all major credit and debit cards, net banking, and cash on delivery where available.

Payment security: All online payments are processed through a secure third-party payment gateway. We do not store card details on our servers.

Order cancellation: You may cancel your order before it is dispatched by contacting us at support@sattvaorigin.com or calling +91-96590 49922. Once dispatched, our replacement and resolution policy applies.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery time:
Most orders are delivered within 3 to 5 business days across India, depending on delivery location and logistics operations.

Free shipping: Orders above ₹499 qualify for free shipping. Orders below ₹499 will have a flat shipping fee displayed at checkout.

Tracking: A tracking link is sent to your registered email and phone number once your order is dispatched.

Delivery address: You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Delivery delays or non-delivery may occur if incorrect or incomplete address details are provided at checkout.

Failed delivery: If delivery is attempted and unsuccessful, our logistics partner will make a second attempt. After repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, the order may be returned to us. We will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Returns and Refunds

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or has a verified quality concern, please contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and relevant photographs where applicable.

After reviewing the concern, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or resolution wherever applicable.

Eligible for replacement or resolution:

Damaged product received.

Incorrect product received.

Product significantly different from description.

Product quality issue confirmed after review.

Not eligible for replacement or resolution:

Opened or substantially used products.

Natural oil characteristics including cloudiness, colour variation, and sediment that are described on our product pages.

How to report an issue: Email support@sattvaorigin.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where applicable. We will respond within 2 business days.

Refund processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method. UPI and bank transfer refunds may take an additional 2 to 3 business days depending on your bank.

Batch Reports and Lab Testing:

Selected quality and lab reports may be published periodically on our website where applicable.

Testing is conducted through FSSAI-notified and NABL-accredited laboratories. Minor natural variation between batches is expected and does not constitute a product defect.

Health and Nutritional Information

The nutritional information on our product pages and packaging is based on periodic testing and product analysis.

Sattva Origin products are food items certified by FSSAI. We do not make medical or therapeutic claims about our products.

Information about Ayurvedic practices, traditional uses, and health benefits on our website is educational in nature. It is not medical advice. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for personalised medical or dietary guidance.

Intellectual Property

All content on sattvaorigin.com including text, images, product descriptions, blog articles, brand names, and logo is owned by Shivali Global Foods.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Sharing our content for personal, non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution is permitted.

Limitation of Liability

Sattva Origin's liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our products beyond what is covered under our returns and refunds policy.

We are not responsible for delays caused by logistics partners, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes may be communicated to registered customers by email. Continued use of our website or placing a new order after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
